While aboard Northfield's scenic riverboat, guests can take in the picturesque sites and fascinating history of New England's great river, the Connecticut River.

Interpretive River Cruise

Climb aboard Northfield’s scenic riverboat, Heritage, to enjoy a relaxing and informative journey down the Connecticut River. The French King Gorge is one of the most scenic stretches of the Connecticut River in Massachusetts. This 12 mile narrated cruise takes 1.5 hours. If you are looking for a unique group outing, family event, retreat, or wedding, consider chartering Northfield’s scenic riverboat. You can hire a caterer for your cruise or rent our adjacent 70-seat pavilion for the day and have a barbecue picnic on shore. Call the Center for reservations and a brochure: (800) 859-2960.
