Early in this pandemic FirstLight implemented several new policies designed to increase protections for our employees and the communities we serve while maintaining our ability to provide clean electricity to the people of New England. We are complying with the guidance provided by state and federal public health authorities regarding workplace hygiene and cleaning practices, personal interactions, monitoring and reporting any concerns about the health of our staff.
FirstLight also has Emergency Action Plans in place at all times to ensure safe and reliable operations. We remain in close contact with ISO-NE and with appropriate state and federal agencies, who are monitoring the situation to ensure the reliable delivery of electricity throughout the region. The safety of our workers, their families, and our communities is our highest priority and we remain committed to providing reliable and flexible clean electricity for the New England power grid.
