FirstLight Power today announced updates to the availability of its recreation facilities in Massachusetts in accordance with Governor Baker’s Phase I reopening guidelines, effective immediately.

The facilities at Northfield Mountain, Riverview Park, and Barton Cove are now open for trail and open space use only. Restroom facilities and picnic tables at these parks are not available for use because they cannot be sanitized per state guidelines. For your own safety and that of others, please do not use the trash receptacles – please carry out what you carry in.

See below for a comprehensive list of what is open and closed.

FirstLight’s trails and parks are public areas, and are only as clean as the last person who has come in contact with them. Please take appropriate steps to protect your health and the health of others by following the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

FirstLight appreciates your support and understanding as we all continue to work together to stop the spread of COVID-19.  Public safety and that of our employees is our first priority.
