Quinnetukut Riverboat Step aboard the Quinnetukut II and enjoy a relaxing hour and a half interpretive cruise along the Connecticut River. Learn about Glacial Lake Hitchcock, Dinosaurs, past inhabitants of the area. Watch for Bald Eagles, Mute Swans, and Blue Heron. Cruises depart Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11:00, 1:15, and 3:00. Call for reservations since some trips are already sold out. Book your foliage trip now! Riverview Pavilion The Riverview Pavilion mostly booked up for weekends through September, the last weekend is available as well as some weekdays. We stop renting the pavilion on October 19th . Campgrounds and Canoe Rentals Barton Cove Campground and Canoe Rentals is in the full summer operation mode. Phone: (413) 863-9300. We still have some space available for Labor Day weekend. Barton Cove is an alcohol free campground with limited car access. So plan to spend some quiet time on the Connecticut River. We’re only two hours from Boston, about 3 1/2 hours from the Statue of Liberty, and seven hours from Niagara Falls. Reserve early, don’t be disappointed. Fishways The fish ways are closed for the season, they will reopen in early to mid May with the return of the fish. |
